Lanchester Wines Phase Three

This is the 3rd phase of works that Absolute Civil Engineering has done on behalf of Lanchester Wines. This phase includes the initial earthworks and grouting of Lanchester Wines’ new state-of-the-art 22,500m2 bottling facility that will include a visitor centre. ACE is acting as principal contractor for the grouting works which is being carried out by Aarsleff, and was completed in August 2019.

Upon completion of the grouting of the proposed facility, ACE is working on the cut/fill profiling to provide a 200mm stone working platform for the future development and surrounding service yards and car parks, which again, cover an area of approximately 12,500m2.

Future phases of work will include the foundations, service yards, dock levellers, car parks and associated drainage upon the completion of the final designs, which Lanchester Wines and Wardell Armstrong are working closely to complete.
