Regents Park Consett – Made ground (primarily consisting of steel slag) are to be excavated to depths up to 3 metres, uplifted, screened, crushed and re-engineered to make up levels on the 8.5 acre site.
Scope of works:
- Excavating + 120,000m3
- Screening + 100,000m3
- Crushing + 30,000m3
- Filling and Compaction + 100,000m
Also construction of circa 1,200m2 of estate roads to full adoptable standard.
Work commenced in May 2014 and is due for completion in July 2014.
