  • Assistant Site Manager – George Fenley

Joined ACE

George joined ACE in August 2021 as an apprentice soon after completion of his A levels.

Experience

Since Joining ACE I have worked in various roles on various types of sites such as carrying out material “take offs”, looking after smaller sites by myself, completing QA checks and being left in charge to cover the site managers leave on larger sites like Lanchester wines. Now, being more experienced I am looking forward to taking charge of some larger sites.

Most memorable or unusual jobs to date

I initially found it unusual with the varied type of clients we work for and the varied type of works we complete. The most memorable to date was seeing the scale of Greencroft 2 at Lanchester Wines as well as the amount of subcontractors and varied work we carried out on this project.

What is the biggest benefit for clients working with Absolute Civil Engineering?

Our operatives are multi-skilled minimising the number of operatives to complete a project. All our operatives and staff are approachable and helpful. ACE always focuses on the highest quality of work whilst being as efficient as we can be.
