TESCO Steel Murals – Two steel murals have been installed at the entrance to the new TESCO superstore in Consett, adding the finishing touch to this major project in the town, of which Absolute Civil Engineering is proud to have played a primary role.
The panels, measuring four by two metres each, show steel collages of steelworkers lifting pig iron and the former steelworks as it was in its heyday.
The murals where winched into place by crane and are now fixed into the walls at the store entrance.
We would like to extend our congratulations to Chris Brammall and his team in Ulverston, Cumbria for their excellent work in fabricating these magnificent pieces of public art.
